Raw Chewy Tahini Squares

Raw Chewy Tahini Squares

These Chewy Tahini Squares are great to satisfy a sweet craving, especially for later on in the day (you may have gathered from my blog or social media I love refined sugar-free treats 🙂 )

I especially love making homemade things like this because you can make them abundant with so many nutritionally dense whole foods.

Hemp, pumpkin and chia seeds are defiantly my go-to seeds at the moment. I’m always adding them to smoothies and soups and since I had some tahini in the cupboard, I thought why not blend them together with some dates and oats to make some lovely nutritious squares (and share them on the blog with you guys of course 😉 ).

Did you know…

  • Hemp seeds are a great source of high-quality plant protein (easily digested by the body).
  • Chia seeds are packed with omega 3 which is get for the heart.
  • Pumpkin seeds are great for our hair as they contain zinc, magnesium, calcium and iron.
  • Tahini paste (which is made from sesame seeds) is packed with healthy fats and protein for sustained energy.

You can easily make these square nut-free by substituting the almonds for pumpkin and sunflower seeds! 🙂

I hope you enjoy.

Much L O V E, Nicky
