This Chocolate Mousse is seriously something you need to taste for yourself!

I get such a buzz when something that tastes so good, actually is ‘good’! Using raw cacao powder, pronounced ‘ka-cow’, along with the banana and avocado, you get an absolute powerhouse of goodness.

Avocado is one of the most alkaline foods in the world and is loaded with heart-healthy monounsaturated fatty acids and a wide range of other nutrients that have serious anti-inflammatory, anti-cancer, and blood sugar benefits.

Raw cacao has proven to be one of the purest superfoods, offering a wealth of antioxidants and essential vitamins and minerals, such as magnesium, calcium, iron and copper. Raw cacao is also well known for lowering blood pressure because it improves blood flow and circulation. It also stimulates the body’s production of digestive enzymes, improving the digestive system.

I hope you love this recipe. I have said it serves two, but I tend to consume it by myself just fine 🙂

Ingredients

Instructions
  1. Place all the ingredients (excepted the crushed nuts) in a blender/food processor/nutribullet - should become really smooth and thick quite quickly.
  2. Taste to see if you want to add more cacao powder to make it more chocolatey or a drop more milk or water to make it go further.
  3. When you have reached a desired thickness, serve into a bowl.
  4. Top with your crushed nuts, or cacao nibs or desiccated coconut. You can eat straight way or chill in the fridge till you are ready to eat it. Enjoy xx
